FRP daylighting sheets, also known as FRP in Chinese, can be semi-transparent, and some buildings, such as factories, used it as lighting cover materials. Acrylic, also known as PMMA or organic glass, has good transparency, chemical stability and weather resistance, easy dyeing, easy processing, beautiful appearance, and has a wide range of applications in the construction industry. But relative to the acrylic, in addition to the above advantage, PC sheets have the properties high transparency, heat preservation, cold bending, strong impact resistance which acrylic not possessed, and flame retardant properties, self-extinguishing when away from the fire. Therefore, PC sheets is the best choice in some demanding applications.
PVC, is currently the world's largest general plastic, in building materials, industrial products, daily necessities, plastic flooring, floor tile, artificial leather, pipe, wire and cable, packaging film, bottle, foaming materials, sealing materials, fiber, etc, are widely used. So what's the difference between a PC material? PC is a polycarbonate material, which has a short application history in the world, but its application prospect is immeasurable.
We cannot absolutely contrast the advantages and disadvantages of them, but for the PC sheets, many feature makes its advantage very obvious, but the price will be relatively high, and a obvious weakness of the PC sheets is it more afraid of acid and alkali corrosion.
